As a dedicated Somatic Sex Educator, I intertwine professional expertise with a deeply personal journey toward sexual embodiment. Holding certifications as a Sexological Bodyworker and in Somatic Sex Education from the Institute for Studies in Somatic Sex Education, I also bring the healing arts into my practice as a registered massage therapist with a Diploma in Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies from the Australian Shiatsu College. My passion for fostering open conversations about sexuality comes to life in my podcast, "Awakening the Body," where I explore themes of sexuality, psychedelics, trauma, shame, acceptance, and loving self-kindness.

My personal journey towards sexual empowerment and embracing pleasure has been a transformative one. From early childhood, I faced challenging experiences of sexual trauma and complex PTSD, which often left me feeling disconnected and in pain. However, I have learned to embrace and integrate the wisdom gained from these experiences, turning them into stepping stones towards my own wholeness.

Through deep self-work and in collaboration with others, I have cultivated a profound sense of comfort and ease within my own body. This journey has allowed me to forge a strong connection to pleasure, shed shame surrounding my unique sexual expression, and foster greater intimacy in all my relationships. Today, my life is filled with playfulness and joy, supporting me to continue evolving on this transformative path.

I understand that your own journey towards embodiment and pleasure is completely unique to you. As your guide and advocate, I am here to provide support and guidance tailored to your individual needs and desires.

In addition to my expertise as a Somatic Sex Educator, I identify as queer, am non-monogamous, kink friendly, and approach my work with an open and inclusive attitude towards diverse sexual expressions. Furthermore, I navigate life with vulvar lichen sclerosus, a condition that informs and enriches my understanding of sexual well-being.

I look forward to joining you on your journey towards further sexual embodiment and ease.

What is Somatic Sex Education?

Somatic Sex Education is an approach to sexual education and healing that focuses on the integration of the mind, body, and emotions. It emphasizes the importance of understanding and experiencing sexuality not just as a cognitive or intellectual concept, but as a lived, embodied experience.

Somatic Sex Education recognizes that our bodies hold valuable information and wisdom about our sexuality. It aims to cultivate a greater awareness of bodily sensations, pleasure, and desires, and to develop a sense of agency and empowerment in relation to one's own body and sexuality.

SSE (Somatic Sex Education) often incorporates various techniques and practices, such as breathwork, movement, touch, mindfulness, and dialogue. We create safe and non-judgmental spaces for individuals to explore their bodies, sensations, boundaries, desires, and any emotional or past traumas that may impact their sexuality.

The intention of SSE is to support individuals in developing a deeper connection with their bodies, fostering a healthier relationship with their sexuality, and enabling them to make informed choices and embrace pleasure in ways that align with their unique desires and values. It can be beneficial for those seeking to heal from sexual trauma, increase sexual confidence, enhance pleasure, address sexual concerns, or simply deepen their understanding and experience of their own sexuality.
